Ladies and gents, I'm back for this. Last night, I had a dream that the Summit Park Mall was back open. It was back. It was alive. Now, I haven't had a Summit Park Mall dream in months, but I had one last night. Why? Because tonight (a few hours ago actually) was the college sportsball footsport champ sport game. And guess who won? BAMA. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's a lovely link to last year's article. Crimson Tide wins: Summit Mall opens. Makes total sense. ...even though all recent news has been bad. Fingers crossed. -RHM

I neglect this blog so much... Well, since it's October, I might as well get back on this thing. The readership here is *cough* abysmal, but it's my own site, and I love it. The Summit Mall is remaining closed once again this year, crushing my dreams of the Sears to Bon-Ton Christmas shopping walk once again. In other news, I've started using Instagram. You can find it here . It's Month of Korei, where I force myself to draw a picture of the namesake every! single! day! I also started a YouTube channel, Spectra Sphinx, here.  It's like this blog, but sketchier. I really don't use this blog since I'm so involved in my Senior Year of college (gasp), a thesis on Urban Renewal (double gasp), some personal personalities (le gaspe peninsula), and another site (gasp?).   That being said, I still need a place to post my goofy friend antics, so this blog might become the jelly again. -RHM

Well, this is a weird story in the Buffalo News. Apparently a movie being filmed, The True Adventures of Wolfboy, is looking for extras. I don't care about that. What I do care about is this bit: Um...we're shooting a film "on the old Summit Park Mall"? Crap. That's something I didn't see coming. -RHM

BREAKING: I'm going to just give up on the Summit Mall at this point. The lovely people over at the Summit Mall now want a metal structure for their sportsplex. Since they had planned for inflatable domes, two years of planning has just basically been obliterated. With teams contracted to play at the sportsplex as early as November according to one source, there is now a complete overhaul of any sort of order that may have briefly existed. Maybe 2018 will be a better year for progress. -RHM

I forgot to mention in the recent update I've yet again changed the homepage logo. It's not a manatee, but it is wearing red! Those who know me would quickly be able to identify that fine fluff as Korei: the same Korei that's been on the homepage for basically ever. "But what's with all the fur and stuff?" I hear nobody asking. Well, Korei actually started off looking like that years ago. I drew her human more recently because people drive me to do these things. Anywho, enjoy the blog. -RHM

Well, what do you know: I've returned the blog back to the way it looked when it started. The last theme was actually retired by WordPress, and I decided that it was a bit too hectic. Back to the star background! I tend to neglect this blog, but I promise to bring you Summit Park Mall updates as they happen. I might even have other random bits, too. -RHM
