The Summit Park Mall's ALIVE!
So, I'm from Niagara Falls, and have a crazy obsession with the old Summit Park Mall. I've been following the mall since it closed in 2009. I knew when it flooded because a jackass broke a pipe. I was all over Zoran Cocov buying the property. I somehow missed the fact that Cocov was actually going through with his plans in December 2015, but I was totally losing my cool at the beginning of this month when EVERY SINGLE NEWS OUTLET. started to spew the story across my dash.
Needless to say, I'm stupidly excited.
Now, I was impressed to find a small company by the name of CITYfx did a rendering of the old interior, and unveiled some photos of the mall, particularly near the food court. The mall is in much better shape than I feared, which is awesome. Sure, there's graffiti and shattered glass, but otherwise it seems structurally sound.
I am wayyyyyyyy too excited for this. I'm going to bed now. 'Nite, folks.
**EDIT: I added a countdown calendar to the widget menu (the three dots on the menu bar). Check it out!***
