Visiting the Summit Mall
So, I was bored one day and decided to go see (again) if any work was being done on the Summit Mall. **SPOILER** No work at all. I went around the back. It's in pretty messy shape. There were a lot of old smashed televisions back there that I don't remember from my last trip (because of course there were.)

However, while I was there I did collect some decorative stone that had fallen off the the old theater entrance.

I filled a few jars with the stone that was on the ground (there was a lot strewn about). I gave one to Ron as a gift, and kept the other three, one of which also has some asphalt from the parking lot.

Here is three jars filled with stone from the Summit Park Mall theater. The center one also has asphalt from the parking lot. Oh, and I found a manatee![/caption]
So, I'm hoping that Cocov, Blood, Wheatfield, and the lot keep their word and get this place back open! Otherwise my only view of the mall will be from the outside: a very sad view indeed.

It never ceases to amaze me the how much worse the place has gotten since it has closed
