Doubt
I'm just leaving this article here to vent.
Allegedly a member of Wheatfield's development arm has about as much faith in the brewery in the Summit Mall as you'd expect from a dead mall project.
I believe my favorite part is the statement that the demographic isn't there to support this.
The demographic of Western New York won't support a brewery? Have you seen Lockport?
In the meantime, I've driven up to the mall a few times, and there's still no excavator on site. Considering they have to move the power line, I'm wondering if their "work begins next month" quote in May was a bit too early.
As always I'll keep you posted, although this blog is starting to look like the mall a bit.
