Summit Mall news (and my prediction proven wrong)

The Big Thunder Mountain Brewery just got its $750k.

Unfortunately I was blinded by my obsession to realize the reason Save-a-Lot left was because the Brewery is going in.

In other words, the brewery and restaurant will be self contained in a building with no direct tunnel connection to the main mall.

This also means that my belief that the brewery opening soon meant the mall was opening soon was completely wrong.

Here's the updated plan of what's expected to be done by the end of the year:

A quote from the GM of the brewery does bring an interesting piece in, as we now have a clue into what's expected at the mall:
“This project is just the beginning of our vision to become a sports and entertainment destination that will include two sports domes, retail, a daycare, baseball fields across from the mall and more."

So, utilization of the full property is expected, just not immediately.

As always, I'll keep you updated on whatever news comes down the pipe, as my phone is set to buzz anytime Google sees the mall in the news.
